Problem
Panah Papua is an association of Papuan traditional land and forest defenders. They needed a clear, public map of the sago forests of West Papua to support conservation and sustainable land use.
Solution
- An interdisciplinary approach with an urban-planner colleague, so the spatial data reflects real geographic features.
- A user-friendly map page showing the distribution of sago forest, land cover and administrative coverage, with pop-up details.
